UPDATE: A little bit closer
Today I stand a little bit closer to my goal of 267. My last two weigh-ins have been 273...Which means I am down about 6 pounds in the last several weeks and means I am only 6 pounds away from my overall goal of 100 pounds.

Running to the finishline:
I am finding the sprint to the finish to be the hardest part...today I weighted 279, which places me 12 pounds away from my goal. I am not having a difficult time with my eating or anything like that...but it is difficult not seeing the weight come off. I run at least 3 times per week averaging 3 Miles per run and my average time is 30-31 minutes per run...so I am extremely happy with what I am doing right now...but progress is addictive and I want to see more! I have my eyes fixed on 267 and I want to get there by August 24th, 2011.

Summertime
Summertime is a great time of the year...this year is actually better then most because I actually feel like doing stuff with my family...it was only a couple of years ago that I desperately needed air conditioning. Now it is nice but not a neccessity...I also began running with my good friend Jim...he is the one who is also on a weight loss journey. We have gotten far enough in our journey that we now meet up to run multiple miles together...we are meeting up tomorrow to run 2.75 miles together...Jim has already done it once and tomorrow will be number 2. Looking forward to a good run in the morning. BTW my weight is sitting at 278-279 right now...almost hit the 90 pound mark...2 months to lose 11 pounds...I am gonna get this.
