1.5 Days till vacation:

I only have 1.5 days until I go on vacation for Christmas.  Man am i ready for it.  I really need to get to the gym tonight to work out some frustration from work.

Breakfast was 300 calories and lunch is going to be 500 calories...have not had the time to get to it yet.

I am also going to try to get to the gym on Christmas eve morning, really early while the family is sleeping this way i can get at least two workouts in this Christmas week ...which i think is pretty good.

Christmas Week Monday:

I doubt I am going to get to the gym this week...my Son and I have some Christmas shopping to do tonight.  And tomorrow will be finalizing anything that needs to be done for Christmas...I might be able to get there on Wednesday!  Lets pull for that.

I am keeping my lunches respectable during my time off  so I am hoping that any hit will be minimal over the Christmas holiday.

Breakfast was large at 450, lunch was not at 510

Workout Thursday:

I am planning to get to the gym tonight and get a good sweat in.  I am being to believe that maybe my soup lunches might be starting to wear on me.  I might need to find some solutions that still keep me within the 500 calorie range for my lunches.

Breakfast was 240 calories and lunch is 470 calories...I watched my dinner last night and i am really watching my snacking.  I think things will get better once the holidays are over and all the festive treats stop coming to my house.

Wednesday:

Got to the Gym last night and got a really good workout in, 30+ minutes of Cardio...I got a really good sweat going.  Weighed myself and again didn't have any change.  I need to be more diligent in my working out so that i get there on a more routine basis.  I also think i have to watch more on the weekends...I don't go hog wild, but i know i consume more calories on the weekends then i do at any other day of the week.

Breakfast was normal at 275 calories and lunch was 450 calories.  I am thinking i need to be more watchful of my dinners as well...

Grr...Tuesday

Sometimes I do not understand why Tuesdays have to be so difficult.  I really need to get to the gym tonight to work out some frustrations from today.  I am hoping to see some good weight come off this week since i am really trying to watch what I eat.

Breakfast was 250 calories, lunch was a little high at 600 calories.

Mandatory Monday:

Sometimes it feels like Mondays are mandatory...which has a negative connotation to it.  Kind of like it is mandatory that you come to this meeting or that it is mandatory that you work out tonight.  Blah...Any which way it might not be mandatory that i work out tonight, i really should work out.  So I am hoping to get there and try my luck on the Cardio machine.

Breakfast was light at 200 calories, and lunch was typical at 500, the boss brought in a bunch of cookies today and so far I am proud of myself...I have not touched them.

Thankfully Friday:

Thank goodness it is Friday, I feel like i could really use a weekend off...and that is what I plan to do this weekend...nothing...other then hang out with my beautiful wife and adorable son!  I should go to the gym tonight but i don't know if I can pull myself there or not.  Hopefully after work my drive to workout will be much higher then it is now.

Breakfast was 350 calories and lunch was 520 calories.  I didn't snack last night and I am hoping to make it two straight days today.

Thursday:

So I got to the gym last night. and the news was good and bad.  My weight was up to 340 but that might not mean anything with the time of night that i did the weigh in.  The good was my workout.  i got a really good workout in and burned over 500 calories.  I am still struggling with keeping my weight loss going...it has been a couple of weeks that i have stayed around this weight and I still need to find a way to jump start my weight loss again.  I think i need to watch more closely my snacking after work...i think that is my key.

Breakfast 280 calories and Lunch 510 calories.

Dreaded Wednesday?:

Ok so Tuesday wasn't so dreaded.  Most of that was because i did not get to the gym that night.  So I delayed paying the piper by one day not to much of a big deal...but i still have to pay him tonight...hopefully this goes well.

Breakfast was a little larger at 400 calories and lunch was usual at 510 calories.

Dreaded Tuesday:

Well this weekend is now over.  Got back from the Pro Football Hall of Fame and two days of not eating the way I should have...the only good news in this is the fact that I was in good company while doing bad things (eating wise). Now at the gym tonight I will pay the piper and see what the damage is.  Also my wife had a cookie exchange on Sunday and I now have several dozen cookies at my house staring me in the face.  But i am insistent on denying them any impact on my waistline.

Breakfast was 300 calories and lunch as 510 calories.  We are out of our snack, so no snack for today!

Finally Friday!

So I fell of the wagon a little...i gained 1 pound since my last weigh in.  I know i have been snacking more lately then i have been.  So consider myself re-woken up and hopping back on the wagon. I hit the gym extra hard last night and racked up over 500 calories on a cardio machine in 1/2 an hour.  Now i need to watch the snacking and those dreaded Kit-Kats...curse you chocalate goodness...

Breakfast was 280 calories, lunch as 500 calories...and no more kit-kats...

Halfway to the weekend:

We are half way to another weekend.  I didn't get to the gym last night but i am planning on getting to the gym tonight if possible.  I am actually trying very hard to get to the magical 30 pounds lost in the very near future.

Breakfast was 240 calories and lunch as 510 calories.  Got a snacked scheduled for today at 1:00 and it is only 60 calories.

Decent Tuesday:

Got to the gym last night and it went fairly well.  Got a good lift in and some cardio.  Went on the scale and was greeted with 340  which was the same as i was pre-turkey day.  I will take that for a major holiday.  Breakfast was normal at 275 calories and lunch will probably be a but higher since i am meeting my wife for lunch.  All in all this has been a pretty good week so far.
