I have often heard that it takes 30 days to changes ones habits...and once you change your habits they will stay changed forever...Not sure if this is true or not, but we will find out.
I normally don't do things like this...I have never been one to blog or express myself online very much...but this is something that I have felt myself drawn to do. If you are reading this and if you decide to continue to follow this blog hopefully you will witness a change in a person that few go through. My plan is to get myself under 300 lbs within the next year...so i have to lose 65 lbs in 365 days or 1.24 lbs every 7 days. My long-term goal is 265...but i am not thinking of that quite yet.
What is my reason for doing this? Frankly it is my Son...My wife and I had a baby boy 7 months ago and I want to lose the weight for him. I realize that i am not getting any younger and that my years of eating what I want and not paying for it are over...actually my brain about 7 years late to the party that my body has been at since 2002.
So what you are reading here is blog post # 1. I am going to try to blog at least once per day most likely during my lunch (half) hour at work...So let's see if i can make some change in my body and ultimately my life.
